Designed for safety and comfort, state of the art kennel equipment and dedicated loving staff provide peace of mind to our customers. Multiple services provide variety and convenience. As members of the American Boarding Kennel Association, Gold Star Pet Resort, Inc. agrees to abide by the ABKA's Code of Ethics and the ABKA's Bill of Rights for Boarded Pets.

Safety first. To maintain a healthy environment only fully vaccinated pets will be accepted. All pets must be free of infection and up to date on DHLPP, Rabies and Bordatella for dogs and FVRCP, FELV and Rabies for cats. Proof of vaccinations is required for all pets. Vaccinations are not 100% effective and they take time to become effective so all vaccinations must be up to date 7 days prior to entering the resort .All pets are closely checked  for the presence of fleas or ticks, if any are found a Frontline Plus or Capstar will be given at the owners expense.

Boarding services for dogs, cats and other small pets. Our canine guests will enjoy the sanitary and spacious suites from T-Kennel Systems. This state of the art system elevates the canines off of the hard concrete and is designed to prevent waste from one suite entering another. Weather permitting all dogs are taken outside to individual play yards four times a day. Cats and other small pets reside in a separate room from the canines. The luxurious kitty condos were custom built and designed for feline comfort. Relaxing music is provided for all of our guests along with a bedtime treat. The administration of oral or topical medications is provided free of charge. Diabetic animals requiring insulin injections are not accepted.

Individual Play Sessions. Schedule individual playtime for your pet with a camp counselor. Individual play sessions last 10-15 minutes and can include a walk or a game of ball, or perhaps a cuddling session in a quiet place, you choose the activity.

Swimming. For those water-loving canines, schedule a swimming session in our
half-acre pond. Those who swim are required to bathe prior to returning to their suite.

Gooming services are available by appointment. Our professional groomers will pamper your pet with a luxurious bath and trim. Ears are cleaned and nails are trimmed with every bath.  Prices vary depending on breed and condition of coat. For those who prefer to pamper their pets themselves you may reserve time to use our grooming room. We will provide raised tub with power bathing system and everything you need to bathe, dry and groom your own dog.
